City Choir Dunedin is looking forward to a busy 2020, presenting two major concerts and appearing with the Dunedin Symphony Orchestra, the Christchurch City Choir and Christchurch Symphony Orchestra in other concerts. Our audience can look forward to enjoying world-class performances of classical and contemporary choral works.

1 August: Celebrate Peace
City Choir Dunedin presents a concert in Knox Church, with music that ranges from the well-loved classic Fauré Requiem, to contemporary works by internationally-renowned composers Peteris Vasks, Ola Gjeilo and New Zealand composer Christopher Marshall. The concert will feature two upcoming young soloists: soprano Caroline Burchell and baritone Scott Bezett.

22 August: City Choir Dunedin performs in Beethoven’s popular Ninth Symphony presented by the DSO.

28 November: Magnificent Christmas
City Choir’s Christmas concert in the Dunedin Town Hall will include Bach’s Magnificat, Benjamin Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols, and more.
