Calling new singers to join City Choir

Photo: John Roxborogh, March 2013
Not a member yet but you'd like to sing in our City Choir? Now is a good time to join and we always welcome new singers.

Check out the information on our Singers page and have a look at the Concert season and the diary on the Notices page to give you an idea of what is happening this year. We are quite excited about the possibility of a choral workshop in April - watch this space to get the details as they are finalised. Also hugely exciting is the trip to Auckland in November to sing Vaughan Williams’ A Sea Symphony with Auckland Choral and the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra. We've already started rehearsing this work, so don't delay, join us soon!

Send an email to membership secretary Loraine Whitwell to introduce yourself and she'll tell you more:

Don't forget, City Choir Dunedin has a Student Assistance Fund that can help you if you are a student at school, technicon or university and you find it hard to meet the membership fees. Criteria apply, but feel free to enquire about this opportunity. Loraine has all the details and applications are held in strict confidence.
